Thomas Telford Corpach Marina
Thomas Telford Corpach Marina has been busy developing an exciting new resource designed to help visitors discover more of Lochaber and the surrounding area.
Working in partnership with UHI North, West & Hebrides, the marina has created a series of bespoke local maps packed with useful information, attractions, amenities and points of interest. The initiative forms part of a wider effort to encourage visitors to see the area as more than just a stopping point and to inspire them to stay longer, explore further and enjoy everything this beautiful part of the Highlands has to offer.
Three Maps, One Goal: Helping Visitors Discover More
There are currently three maps available, each designed to help visitors explore the area in a different way.
Corpach Local Map – available as both an interactive online map and a stylised printable version. It highlights marina facilities, local transport links, places to eat, public services and a range of things to see and do in the local area.
Fort William & Lochaber Map – a useful guide for visitors looking to explore the wider area. It features indoor and outdoor activities, tours, sightseeing opportunities, museums, shopping, places to eat, local amenities and other points of interest.
Sailing Loch Linnhe Map – designed specifically for those exploring the area by boat, the Sailing Loch Linnhe Map highlights places to berth, moor, eat, drink and walk. The map covers a wide area, stretching from Kerrera and Tobermory through to Corpach.
A Resource That Continues to Grow
One of the great benefits of the interactive maps is that they are continually evolving. New information, businesses, places and points of interest are being added on an ongoing basis, with updates appearing in real time.
Visitors can click on individual points of interest to find out more, making the maps a simple and engaging way to discover what is available across the area.
Free to Share with Customers and Guests
Thomas Telford Corpach Marina is delighted to make these resources available free of charge for local businesses, accommodation providers, visitor attractions and tourism operators to share with their customers and guests.
The stylised Corpach Local Map is also available as a downloadable PDF, which businesses are welcome to print and distribute to visitors.
The maps offer a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to help visitors make the most of their stay while also showcasing the incredible range of attractions, activities, services and experiences available throughout Lochaber and the wider West Highlands.
We are delighted to share this initiative from one of our members and encourage businesses across the region to explore the maps and consider how they could use them as part of their visitor information.

Helping visitors to explore, discover and enjoy more of our wonderful corner of Scotland can only be good news for the entire West Highland business community.
