Corpach Marina seeks new board directors
Help Shape the Future of Corpach Marina
Corpach Marina is currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its volunteer Board of Directors and help shape the future of this community-owned facility.
More Than a Marina – Part of the Community Corpach Marina is more than just a place to moor a boat. As a community-owned enterprise, its operations have an impact far beyond the pontoons. Profits from the marina are reinvested into the local area—supporting organisations, community projects, and events that bring people together. Now, the marina is looking for more people who want to help make that happen.
No Expert Knowledge Required Prospective candidates might think becoming a director requires specialist knowledge, particular qualifications, or years of boardroom experience. It doesn’t. The board is simply looking for people with enthusiasm, ideas, and a genuine interest in Corpach Marina and the wider community. Directors don’t need to know everything; they just need a willingness to get involved, share ideas, and learn along the way.
A Friendly Team The current directors are a friendly and approachable group who enjoy working together, sharing ideas, and making things happen. New board members will have the full support of the existing directors and the opportunity to get involved at their own pace. Their views will be highly valued, with plenty of opportunities to learn on the role.
What Volunteers Can Contribute As a volunteer director, individuals will have a voice in the future of Corpach Marina. They can bring experience from business, leadership, marine activities, or community work, or simply offer a fresh perspective and a willingness to get involved. Directors help shape decisions, contribute ideas, and work alongside others who care about the marina and its surrounding community.
-
Experience matters.
-
Ideas matter.
-
Enthusiasm matters.
Ideal candidates might be boat owners, local residents, regular visitors, or simply people who believe in what the marina is trying to achieve.
Get Involved For anyone who has ever wanted to help, make a difference, or become more involved in the marina, the board warmly welcomes a chat.
There is no obligation and no commitment required. The team would simply love to hear from anyone interested in finding out more about what being a volunteer director involves. Those who care about Corpach Marina and the community around it are encouraged to step forward and help shape its future.
